Smoked Steak and Bold Blue Crostini

Ingredients

  • baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • oz thinly sliced smoked sirloin or flank steak
  • oz high
  • quality blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup caramelized onions
  • tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Fresh chives, finely chopped, for garnish

Prep Steps

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and toast on a baking sheet for 8 minutes

  3. 3While the crostini are still warm, spread a small amount of caramelized onion onto each slice.
