This crostini is a celebration of summer's best flavors, combining the rich, creamy tang of goat cheese with the sweet, sun-ripened burst of fresh blueberries. A drizzle of bright lemon-thyme infused honey adds a complex, aromatic finish that perfectly balances the savory and sweet components. It's a light, elegant bite that is perfect for a warm afternoon gathering or as a sophisticated dessert course.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • oz fresh goat cheese (chèvre), softened
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • tablespoons honey
  • teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Pinch of sea salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and arrange them on a baking sheet. Toast for 8 minutes
