Ingredients

  • French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup prepared vanilla custard (or pastry cream)
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • teaspoon confectioners' sugar, for dusting

Prep Steps

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with melted butter and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over one side of the buttered bread slices.

  4. 4minutes, or until the crostini are lightly golden brown and crisp. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
