Spiced Pear and Honey Mascarpone Crostini

Ingredients

• •8 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
• •3 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
• •1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts (optional, for garnish)

Prep Steps

1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly toast for 5-7 minutes minutes until golden. Set aside.
2. 2In a medium skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the sliced pears, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Sauté for 5-7 minutes minutes until the pears are tender-crisp and fragrant.
3. 3In a small bowl, gently whisk together the softened mascarpone cheese and 3 tablespoons of honey until smooth and well combined.
4. 4Spread a generous dollop of the honey mascarpone mixture onto each toasted crostini slice.
