  • small baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch thick rounds (about 16 slices)
  • tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • oz soft goat cheese (chèvre), softened
  • 1/4-bought or homemade)
  • quality salted caramel sauce (store
  • bought or homemade)
  • teaspoon flaky sea salt (e.g., Maldon)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with melted butter and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  2. Toast the slices for 8 minutes
