Ingredients

  • baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • oz soft goat cheese (chèvre)
  • 1/4 cup fig jam or preserves
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • tablespoon honey, for drizzling
  • Pinch of sea salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and arrange them on a baking sheet. Toast for 8 minutes

  3. While the crostini are still warm, spread a generous layer of soft goat cheese on each slice.
