This robust crostini features a creamy, pungent blue cheese spread over a crisp baguette slice, perfectly balanced by the sweet, dark notes of fig jam. A sprinkle of toasted walnuts and a sliver of salty prosciutto add a satisfying crunch and a complex, savory finish, making it a truly gourmet bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Pinch of black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
