Honey-Whipped Ricotta and Lavender Crostini

baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
oz whole milk ricotta cheese
tablespoons high
quality honey, plus more for drizzling
1/2 teaspoon dried culinary lavender
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
Pinch of sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and arrange them on a baking sheet. Toast for 8 minutes

While the bread toasts, prepare the topping. In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 2 tablespoons of honey, dried lavender, lemon zest, and a pinch of sea salt.
Use a whisk or a hand mixer to whip the mixture for 1 minutes
