A refreshing and sophisticated appetizer, this crostini captures the bright, botanical essence of a classic Gin and Tonic. Creamy lime-infused cheese is topped with crisp cucumber and a subtle hint of juniper, offering a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The combination is light, zesty, and perfect for a spring celebration.

Ingredients

  • small baguette, sliced diagonally into 1/2-inch pieces
  • tbsp olive oil
  • oz cream cheese, softened
  • tbsp London Dry gin
  • tsp lime zest
  • tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/4
  • tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced English cucumber
  • tbsp fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • Pinch of crushed juniper berries (optional, for garnish)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil and toast for 8 minutes

  3. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, gin, lime zest, lime juice, and salt. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well
