This crostini is a celebration of summer's bounty, featuring the sweet, slightly acidic flavor of fresh cherries balanced by the creamy, tangy richness of goat cheese. Ingredients

  • baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • oz soft goat cheese (chèvre), at room temperature
  • cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • tablespoon honey

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and arrange them on a baking sheet. Toast for 8 minutes
